Inti Wasi is lovely: it's in an excellent location, offers great value for money, is clean and has helpful staff. We would definitely stay there again!
The hot shower was great while it lasted: only long enough for one person! Minor complaint overall though

The location of this hostal is spectacular. You can't beat the scenary in Cusco and this place is right in the thick of things. Close to the local markets, lots of food options and the main area of the city.
It can be loud. The church bells played all nights we were there. There is some street noise, but quieted down around 11pm. Our last night was a Sunday on the 1st of April and they started celebrating at 10pm with a parade that went down the street right in front of the hostal, we watched it from our balcony. They celebrated into the night- ringing the bells and making speeches at 2:30am. I slept though it but my husband did not. So like I said, it can be loud.

Apart from its perfect location right on the Plaza de Armas, it was also very comfortable and quiet. I believe that the building is a restored colonial edifice if I'm not mistaken. The sheltered, central courtyard was perfect for relaxing and/or enjoying the daily breakfast. Internet connection was better here than most and hot water was reliable. They even send out your laundry for you!

Centrally located, great value, and great service.
Location on square is a little noisy but tolerable.
